Two brothers, one verandah, one machine and a Bag A Dreams!
Bag - A - Dreams
The demand since we launched in August 2015 has been tremendous! Bresheh Enterprises designs and manufactures a range of quality, 100% customizable products in Jamaica including: backpack, totes, crossbody bags and lunch bags with plans to expand into other areas. In eight months, we have made and sold over 500 bags. We started on our verandah with one industrial sewing machine and we are now up to two which means that our current capacity stands at 4 bags per day. However, the demand for our products is far greater than what we can supply at the moment. We made a bold move by participating at Expo Jamaica 2016 and coming out of that we have approximately 1000 orders to fill.
Additionally, the back to school season is just around the corner and we want to be ready to supply Jamaica, the region and the world with our products. In 2014, Jamaica imported some 600,000 backpacks alone. We want your support to ensure that more students go back to school in a locally made Bresheh bag, to ensure that patriotic Jamaicans across the world can roll with a Bresheh, that individuals who love our culture and the quality of our products can have them at their fingertips.
Scroll through...we hope that you love what you see enough to support our journey! #PickRight
The Bresheh Brothers
We hail from a small farming district called Garden field in the Parish of St. Thomas in Jamaica
We later made the move to Kingston to further our education
We have been through thick and thin
Humble but here to win
On a mission With one machine, big dreams and passion intact
From our verandah to the world, making an impact
Upward toiling through the night
Imploring you, pick right

One Verandah, One Machine, Bag - A - Dreams
One evening towards the end of July 2015, we were having a conversation about dreams and plans for the future. At the time, we were both residing in Kingston. Davian was working at a local department store in the heart of Downtown Kingston while I was a fairly well established performer and social entrepreneur. Davian was working minimum wage and NOT utilizing his creative abilities. On that evening the idea of Bresheh was born.
Bresheh is the Jamaican word for Breadfruit and we wanted a name that would connect on a cultural level. The aim, to design and manufacture a range of versatile products inspired by the Jamaican and Caribbean culture while inspiring others to take bold steps towards their goals and dreams and thus closer to securing the future they want. We started on our verandah with one second hand industrial sewing machine and big dreams after spending time practising on an old domestic machine. From the day we got our first order, we have not looked back.
We have a dream, a dream of sharing with the world a range of quality, 100% customizable products, designed and manufactured in Jamaica in an ethical environment.

This is why we need your support to be able to buy more industrial sewing machines to ensure that we create jobs in Jamaica instead of sending the work overseas. Therefore, the Jamaican economy ultimately benefits and we are able to control and ensure that our products are made in an ethical environment.

We have spent the past nine months sourcing materials, experimenting with initial designs, creating mock-ups and learning the manufacturing process. We are eager to take things to the next level in order to source material in bulk for production consistency, train and employ more seasoned and young persons, buy more industrial sewing machines, an embroidery machine and a fabric cutting machine.
